A natural river landscape with mystical beauty
At the Sihlsprung, the River Sihl forces its way through the narrow valley between high, overgrown gompholite walls, and flows cheerfully by the mighty boulders on its way downhill. The hiking trail also winds directly along the banks of the Sihl, around the moss-covered rocks and below overhanging walls. The Sihl Galleries are tunnels that were built for the water supply of the City of Zurich.
