Cherry Cake Museum

in the place where it was invented

The new «Zuger Kirschtorte Museum» (Zug Cherry Cake Museum) at Treichler's, the place where the cherry cake was invented at 3 Bundesplatz in Zug, has over 200 original exhibits, documents and pictures of the 100-year-old history of the Zuger Kirschtorte in an artistic display.
Another unique feature is the largest current range of Zug and Rigi kirsch in Switzerland with the oldest bottles, much sought after by connoisseurs, dating back to 1949. Do come and visit it. The museum is open during normal shop opening times and it is well worth it.
