Chröpfelimeh Singing

On the Sunday after Ash Wednesday - so-called "men's carnival Sunday" - costumed groups of singers and musicians gather at dusk in the old town of Zug.
They stop at any house where a red light burns, which indicates that the engaged or newly-married couple living there, would like to be serenaded personally by the group. The young couple then thanks the singers by lowering down a basket filled with wine and pastries (Chröpfeli), but the singers ask for more "meh".
