Sladjan Nedeljkovic - Discovery

Born in Serbia in 1969, the artist Sladjan Nedeljkovic emigrated to Zug Canton with his parents in 1982; for the past several years he has lived and worked in Berlin. Nedeljkovic has been awarded grants by the Swiss Confederation and the canton of Zug, and has already participated in several group exhibitions at the Kunsthaus. Now his most recent works will be presented in a solo exhibition, above all his so - called Constellations - multipartite photographic works composed of pictures he took himself and those taken by others. Where do the images of this world come from? Who made them? The boundary between his own photos and anonymous ones from the mass media becomes blurred in Nedeljkovic's pictorial atlas between East and West. A publication conceived by Sladjan Nedeljkovic for the Kunsthaus Zug will appear in conjunction with the exhibition.
