This route is undoubtedly one of the most popular running routes in Zug. It is characterized by its flat nature with minimal elevation changes, which allows runners to maintain a constant pace. The starting point of the course can be chosen flexibly within the city. Beginning at Bundesplatz, the circuit runs along Lake Zug through the new town. On the way you pass the harbor, Zug beach and follow the railroad tracks for a short distance. At the campsite, the scenery changes and the paved road turns into a scenic path. The following kilometer leads through the Choller nature reserve, which lies directly on the lake shore. Here you reach the Alte Lorze and cross it on a wooden bridge before turning north.
