Lake zug

WATER SPORTS

The wind: a joy for some, a nightmare for others. The wind mainly blows from the west on Lake Zug, although the Föhn can often blow here in the summer months and the Bise in winter. The Föhn particularly delights sailors, kitesurfers and windsurfers during the warmer months of the year. But if you prefer to take it easy, an excursion on a pedalo, rowing boat or SUP paddle-board may be a good choice. We particularly recommend a trip to Zug’s historic old town or to the idyllic shore around Cham on a SUP paddle-board. If you do go stand-up paddle-boarding, please ensure that you keep the appropriate distance from the Choller Nature Reserve.
