At 1,093 metres high, the Zugerberg, our local mountain, may not be the biggest, but what it lacks in size it makes up for with its diversity of plant and animal species. In addition to the magnificent cherry trees that thrive here on the Zugerberg, you will find one of Switzerland’s designated moorland landscapes of national importance.  It also offers a wide range of excellent recreational activities. You can take a leisurely hike, including a nice rest on a sun terrace, you can ride down a thrilling bike trail, you can try a paragliding flight—in fact, you can do almost any leisure activity you can think of!
