Robi Adventure Playground, Baar
A wonderland of adventure
This is just the right place for small adventurers and budding craftsmen (and women).
When open, this is an enclosed area where school-age children can really enjoy themselves, discovering and making all sorts of things. They can let off steam on a huge grassed area, play hide and seek in the bushes, build a dam in the stream or a hut with their father, fan a fire in the barbecue area or make a "grass head" in the workshop. Each child is sure to find his own adventure. The playground can also be used in wet weather as the pavilion provides shelter. As long as they are accompanied by their parents, smaller children are also welcome. They cannot fail to enjoy playing in a sand pit with its own little house and kitchen where they can pretend to do all sorts of things. The Robi adventure playground in Baar was actually founded by the Adventure Playground Association of Baar and is run by voluntary helpers. During opening hours, there is always someone there to support the children. The association also puts on a number of events and activities. You can find out more on www.robi-baar.ch.
