The special exhibition on May 17 & 18, 2025 in the Old Town Hall in Gersau sheds light on the beginnings of tourism and the construction of the steam train line.
On the anniversary weekends (August 30/31 & September 6/7, 2025) a section of track will be built on Rigi Scheidegg and a steam locomotive will run on it. A varied supporting program rounds off the experience.
