It is the smallest of the four preserved fortified towers in Zug. But it stands well.

  • Group size: max. 48 seats
  • Infrastructure: kitchen, crockery, heating, toilet in outbuilding, space outside
  • Key delivery: pick-up and return at Zug Tourism (Zug train station)
  • Broom-clean handing over on the following day until 09.00 o'clock

Historical information

  • 1524 and 1525 Building of the Huwilerturm (maybe earlier)
  • 1697 Owned by the burgher Huwiler (hence its name Huwilerturm)
  • 1826 Renovation and breaking out of a gate and two door-like windows
  • 1870 Private property
  • 1974 Since then the Unteroffiziersverein rents out the tower
