It is particularly impressive at the Schönenberg rapids, known as the Sihlsprung. Here, the river is constricted by steep cliffs up to 75 meters high, creating a spectacular natural spectacle. Equally worth seeing are the waterfall in Finstersee and the moraine landscape near Menzingen, where a few mighty linden trees adorn the hilltops. The mightiest of these linden trees, the “Dichterlinde,” stands on a plain near the hamlet of Grund.
