Playground HOPP-LA - Baar

Playground

Encounter and movement adventure for young and old.

Hopp-la

On the Hopp-la Parcours in Baar, young to old experience exciting movement adventures under the motto "Play along, stay fit". At the various stations, from the Sternmatt play island (02a) and the Zugerwegli (02b) to the interactive water game on Gäuggelplatz in front of the Sisters' House (02c), there are playful instructions for intergenerational movement wrapped up in a story. The story is about the elderly squirrel Lucy and the young tomcat Max, who experience various adventures on their hunt for nuts. On the versatile course, young and old can meet and move together with a maximum of fun and joy in a healthy way. The population of Baar has actively participated in the design and implementation.

The Hopp-la course promotes strength and coordination of movement (especially balance) as well as endurance. For older adults, additional exercises for fall prevention are available with "Training Plus". On the Hopp-la Parcours there are attractive and newly developed play and movement elements for all generations, which enable a moving togetherness. There is a picnic area at all stations. In addition, bookworms will find another activity at the beginning and end of the course.
