Young bulls come from all over Switzerland. And fully grown bulls that command respect. But the animals are securely tethered. Farmers buy and sell the bulls. They compare breeding results and exchange ideas on other topics as well. The bull market is essentially a farmers’ event—but one that everyone else appreciates, too. As a result, the festival tents are always packed.
