You need to go up behind the post office, but the climb is worth it as the view from the "Guggi" of the Old Town with its defence towers, churches, the Burg Zug and Zytturm with the lake beyond is incredible. Further in the distance you can see the foothills of the Alps and then the Alps themselves. In fact in good weather you can even see the Bernese Alps, not to mention the legendary Zug sunsets.
