Zug was once surrounded by a protective city wall. In the south-eastern corner stood the powder tower, where gunpowder was stored. Today you can rent the powder tower: Celebrate an unforgettable company event, a unique family celebration, a stylish aperitif, a first-class anniversary or hold a meeting in the historic powder tower.
Useful information for tenants- Rental period: Mon - Sun until max. 24.00 hrs
- Group size: For fire safety reasons, the tower can be rented for groups of a maximum of 50 people. The rooms offer the following capacities:
- Ground floor: 27 seats or 50 standing places
- Gallery: up to 50 seats
- Rittersaal: up to 50 seats (concert seating only, exhibition or seminar; catering is not possible here)
- Infrastructure: kitchen, crockery, heating, chairs and tables, concert seating, WC (wheelchair accessible), parking within walking distance (Casino multi-storey parking lot)
- Key handover: collection and return on site from the tower warden
- Clean return the following day by 09.00 am
- Visits possible on request (info@zug.ch / 041 511 75 00)

- CHF 150.00 aperitif/short seminar only (max. 2 hours + 1 hour set-up and clearing up)

Additional costs for coffee (CHF 2.00 per use) and CHF 0.25/kWh energy costs at cost.
