Wings for Life World Run

In Red Bull's "Wings For Life" World Run, thousands of people around the world start running at the same time. Instead of a fixed finish line, a so-called catcher car starts 30 minutes after the start of the run and gradually catches up with the participants. While leisurely runners are caught up after around 5 kilometers, top athletes sometimes manage over 60 kilometers. Everyone starts at the same time worldwide. Over 7,000 runners and wheelchair users are expected in Zug. Among them are well-known Swiss sports stars such as Marco Odermatt, Franjo von Allmen, Simon Ehammer and Daniela Ryf.

Those who cannot be there have the opportunity to take part via the app version of the race.

Whoever is overtaken finishes their run. The best part: 100% of the entry fees and donations go directly to spinal cord research to find a cure for paraplegia. Participants run until the famous Catcher Car catches up with them. Take part in this major event for a good cause in the canton of Zug.
