  • Number of rooms: 47 in the Hotel APART, 12 in the Hotel Bauernhof and 3 studios (in the Hotel APART)

In the area of energy efficiency, they have implemented the following:

  • Central ventilation can only be controlled via reception. Guests cannot set the temperature themselves
  • Heating with geothermal energy
  • Solar system in use on the roof, which ensures the power supply for the hotel and the entire company
  • Electricity is only activated when the guest is in the room
  • No unnecessary use of towels. Guests are informed that they are welcome to use the linen for several days.
  • Refillable dispensers for soap and shower gel

    APART AG has now introduced the digital check-in and check-out system. Guests can check in and out paperless. They can have the invoice sent to their home and can also pay directly. This reduces the use of paper and improves the sustainability of the stay in Rotkreuz, in the canton of Zug

    The following sustainable measures have been implemented:

    • Member of Fairjobs Hotels. Important basis for ensuring that employees are treated fairly
    • The employees' working hours are very fair. The hotel is mostly closed at weekends
    • The hotel is barrier-free. Guests can easily reach all rooms in a wheelchair
    • Rotkreuz is very well served by public transport and the majority of employees travel to the hotel by train.
    • We travel paperless

    1. The energy efficiency (MINERGIE house, PV system and heating with geothermal energy) is already of a high standard
    2. High social commitment. Are a member of Fairjobs, barrier-free and have fair working hours.

    5th sustainable excursion tip in Zug

    On a wonderful journey along the Herzroute from Einsiedeln to Zug, you will be accompanied by picturesque landscapes and idyllic villages.
