A creative collection project around ZugMagic 2025 has united the region: a new world record was set with over 26,151 yogurt lids - as a strong sign of sustainability, inclusion and community in action.
ZugMagic 2025 culminated with an impressive symbol of sustainability, inclusion and creativity in action: the successful world record for recycling yogurt lids.
26,151 stars - a world record for Zug and with Zug
The collection appeal sparked real enthusiasm: a school from Obfelden contributed 1,922 lids, the Nahla women's association from Zug over 2,700. Colleagues engaged in friendly collecting duels at the Brauerei Baar. All of the collected lids were lovingly handcrafted into stars by the employees of the Zuwebe Foundation - each one a symbol of sustainability, cooperation and inclusion in practice.
Numerous participants - including the Zuwebe Foundation, Nestlé Lactalis, partners of ZugMagic and dedicated collectors from all over the region - helped to make this record possible and to make the magic of the stars a reality in Zug.
A big thank you to everyone who helped collect, cheer and shape the event - without your commitment, this world record would not have been possible.
