With the opening of a new bike rental station at the Park Hotel Zug, Zug Tourism is working with Rent a Bike to strengthen the sustainable mobility offering in the canton of Zug. The centrally located station allows guests and locals to rent state-of-the-art e-bikes directly at the hotel reception and discover the surrounding area in a comfortable and climate-friendly way, whether for a leisurely ride along Lake Zug, a tour through the city or a sporty ride in the Zug hills.
The project makes an important contribution to promoting soft mobility and strengthening sustainable tourism. It shows how comfortable travel, exercise and environmental awareness can be combined.In future, the offer is to be further expanded. Among other things, the so-called Herzschlaufe is being planned, a new cycle route that will complement the existing Herzroute network and offer guests and locals alike further sustainable experiences on two wheels.The new station will consolidate the existing network of bike rental options and represent a further step towards climate-friendly, tangible mobility in Zug.
