This hike leads from urban Baar along the wild and romantic Lorze river to the legendary Höllgrotten caves
.The 6000-year-old stalactite caves offer a fantastic magical world with impressive stalagmites and stalactites. The route continues into the Lorzentobel, known for its three impressive bridges. Look out for the information boards on the Lorze industrial trail, where you can learn historical details about the industrialization of the region. As soon as you hear the weir, it's not far to Schmittli, the end point of this hike.
