A special insight into Roman food culture awaits you at the Museum für Urgeschichte(n). In the Roman show kitchen, delicacies based on historical recipes tempt you to try them out.
On May 17 from 11.00am, the De-Gustatio group will be demonstrating how people cooked in ancient times in the Roman show kitchen. Using authentic cooking utensils, they will be preparing specialties according to traditional recipes. Visitors can watch and taste the Roman delicacies directly.
At the same time, there is one last opportunity to visit the special exhibition "The Fascination of Glass". In addition to the original finds, a selection of high-quality replicas of Roman glass vessels will also be presented exclusively on Museum Day.
