Under the motto "Off to the Middle Ages!", the Museum Burg Zug becomes a living stage of bygone times and invites young and old on an exciting journey through time with a varied program.
Under the motto To the Middle Ages!, the castle comes to life from 11 am to 4 pm. Traditional crafts can be experienced and provide exciting insights into everyday life in times gone by. Carve spoons, try your hand at stonemasonry, repair chain mail or write your own initial with a quill. Old techniques come alive and become tangible.
At 3 pm, Magd Ita provides special entertainment and takes young and old on a humorous journey through the colorful life of the Middle Ages.
In addition, the permanent and special exhibitions "hûs, stat, fëld - Mittelalter in der Zentralschweiz" invite visitors to explore from 10 am to 5 pm. They offer fascinating insights into the life and development of the region in the Middle Ages.
