If the weather is unstable, you can enjoy a dry snack at several tables under the large shelter. Directly next to the playground, a staircase by the Lorze allows you to get into the cool water. This area is fenced in and equipped with a safety gate for the little ones. The playground is located on the Lorze industrial trail, where the reconstructed water wheel from the former Roman Empire found in Hagendorn can be found. On sunny days, the Roman waterwheel is powered by a solar pump and can be admired. It's also worth packing something to sizzle on, as there is an electric barbecue in the playground.
