On Saturday, September 19, 2026, 47 volunteers in Baar joined forces to take a stand against littering—more than half as many again as the previous year.
Divided into four groups, locals, visitors, families, and businesses set out on foot from the Baar community center and cleared trash from streets, paths, and public spaces. Clean-Up Day was part of the “Für es suubers Baar” campaign weeks organized by the municipality of Baar and Zeba from September 7 to 21, 2026. Over the course of the campaign weeks, approximately 310 kilograms of trash were collected.
