It's hard to believe that a historic battle, the Battle of Morgarten, was once fought on the banks of this pearl. Today, only the memorial and information center remain as reminders. They are definitely worth a visit. And can easily be combined with a hike, a bike tour or a boat trip followed by a fish lunch.
