The Kunsthaus Zug has several thematic collections, ranging from classical modernism to contemporary art and also incorporating art from the region. For space reasons, the diverse collection is not on permanent display and is presented in thematic temporary exhibitions. Four to five projects a year are dedicated to contemporary and 20th century art with targeted inclusion of public space. Art education plays an important role with programs for children, young people and adults. Diverse dialogues and educational approaches open up different approaches to the works of art and the exhibitions.
The Kunsthaus Zug puts together a varied educational program for each exhibition. In exclusive guided tours, you will learn about art history and discover new approaches to art by looking at pictures together. The guided tours can be rounded off with an aperitif of selected delicacies, which the Kunsthaus bar will be happy to put together for you.
