The Christmas lights in the village of Baar, the Christchindli Market, and the Baar St. Nicholas figures all play their part in getting the people of Baar in the Christmas spirit. The Baar Light Trail adds yet another attraction to the pre-Christmas and Christmas season. Along a 1.5-kilometer stretch at the foot of Baarburg Castle, nearly 2,000 LED lights will shine, creating a festive and contemplative atmosphere.
The Baar Light Trail is designed to help people from near and far get into the Christmas spirit—whether they walk the trail alone and in peace, as a family, or in a group of friends.
