Guided tour of the organic farm in Zug on Lake Zug: Groups gain insight into organic farming, vegetable and fruit cultivation, and the farm's natural habitats.
The tour of the Zug Organic Farm on Artherstrasse in Zug showcases a farm on Lake Zug that has been operated organically for about 30 years. Over the course of about 45 minutes, the group learns how vegetables, herbs, fruits, and berries are grown and how the farm is ecologically designed with various biotopes. All produce is sold in the farm store or processed on-site. Upon request, themed tours are available—such as those focusing on heirloom vegetable varieties—as well as an interactive trail with various stations.
This program is ideal for corporate events, team-building activities, and club outings and can be booked year-round. Tours take place in all weather conditions, except during hailstorms and thunderstorms; in case of inclement weather, the tour takes place in Schüür 59 or the greenhouse. Each guide can accommodate up to 20 people, and multiple groups can participate simultaneously. For groups of 30 or more, the organic farm organizes events such as brunch, lunch, dinner, or barbecues.
