Requirements for guests to use FAIRTIQ
- App Download (Google Play, Apple Store)
- First and Last Name Registration
- Date of Birth
- Promotional code, which is provided to the guest via a business card-style card. This is provided by Zug Tourism.
- Valid only for 2nd-class travel
- A payment method (credit card, Postcard, Twint, or Rekacard) must be on file so that costs incurred outside our cantonal borders are billed to the guest, thereby preventing any misuse.
- Wi-Fi or an internet connection is required for check-in. After that, a GPS signal is sufficient. If necessary, check-in can take place at the hotel, provided there is a public transportation stop nearby.
- All guests at participating establishments receive a promotional code for using the FAIRTIQ app upon check-in. The terms of use are as follows:
- Digital only
- Families can count as fewer than 1 person thanks to the ride-sharing feature
- Usage period: max. 3 days (if more are needed, a new code must be issued.) Starting with the first night's stay
- Issued exclusively at check-in at the place of stay.
- The guest card is not valid for dogs, large groups, or bicycles.
