Pulverturm

City wall / gate

Zug was surrounded by a protective city wall. In the south-eastern corner stood the Powder Tower. Rudiments of the demolished town wall can still be seen today.

Pulverturm

The tower wall is up to 270 centimetres thick. This is also because gunpowder was stored in the powder tower.

Today you can rent the tower - for your party. Your celebration. Whether you want to enjoy a short aperitif or a dignified dinner, the Powder Tower is sure to provide the right atmosphere.
