The loop hike begins at Villette Park in Cham and follows the Lorze River to Zug before returning to Cham along quiet trails. Along the way, you’ll encounter idyllic river landscapes, expansive meadows, shaded sections, and beautiful views of Lake Zug. The Lorze Plain is one of Switzerland’s most significant natural landscapes and was named “Landscape of the Year” by the Swiss Landscape Conservation Foundation. The mostly flat route is ideal for anyone who wants to explore the Zug region on foot and experience nature at their own pace.
