More than 60 lovingly decorated Christmas huts line the lakeshore, offering fine dining, beautiful gifts, a children’s village, and a fondue chalet.
The Advent season is getting a new home. From November 19 through December 23, 2026, the Alpenquai will be transformed into an atmospheric Christmas market. Amid cozy spots and hidden seating nooks, more than 60 lovingly designed Christmas huts will offer delicious food and beautiful gifts. The Fondue Chalet will serve cheese fondue and fondue chinoise, and the Children’s Village will feature a carousel, hands-on activities, and St. Nicholas. The result is a new gathering place for Zug, created by the organizers of the Zurich Christmas Village.
Hours:
Monday through Friday, half of the market is open from 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; hours vary on holidays.
