Fall has a special charm. On Saturday, October 10, 2026, everything in Baar will revolve around Swiss truffles. Arranged in a circle, 18 market stalls will offer fresh Burgundy truffles and a wide selection of specialties, ranging from homemade truffle pasta to truffle salami and truffle honey. Right next door, the festival food court—with plenty of seating—invites you to enjoy truffle risotto and grilled truffle bratwurst; they’ve also added fries with truffle mayonnaise to the menu. At 11 a.m., Carolina Jaroch from animalcoach.ch will demonstrate how dogs track down the tubers and provide fascinating insights into truffle hunting. This makes the market a gathering place for everyone who wants to experience Swiss truffles at their best.
