On Sunday, December 6, 2026, the Zuger Märlisunntig association once again invites you to an afternoon in fairytale land from 1.30 pm to 6 pm.

On Zug’s “Märlisunntig,” in a narrow alley in Zug’s Old Town, two stilt walkers—men and women alike—dressed in blue-and-yellow carnival costumes with bell caps and small flags make their way between the houses.

Fairies, magicians, musicians and storytellers are often to be found here. Immerse yourself in the world of fairy tales, listen to music from the barrel organs and let yourself be carried into a fairy-tale world on nostalgic carousel horses. The perfect Sunday for young and old alike.
