Currently, the construction of a modern indoor ski slope with an integrated 4-star superior hotel and a large congress center is being planned in Zug.
An international investor from Norway is planning to build a modern indoor ski slope with an integrated 4-star superior hotel in the heart of the canton of Zug. Access to the indoor ski facility is to be free of charge for all residents of the canton of Zug.
The planned ski hall is to be operated all year round and use state-of-the-art snow and cooling technology. Planned is:
- Main slope with a length of around 350 to 400 meters
- Separate areas for beginners
- Trainingszonen
- Snowboard- and freestyle areas
- Ski school
- Equipment rental
- Gastronomic offers
In addition to the planned indoor ski facility, a 4-star superior hotel with around 120 rooms is planned. The offer is to be supplemented by modern seminar and event rooms as well as a congress center with a capacity of up to 4,000 people.
The Stierenmarkt area is currently being examined as a possible location.
