A natural forest in Switzerland? This route leads into the atmospheric Sihlwald forest. Old, impressive giant trees that are up to 250 years old, small, young trees and trees that are around 120 years old characterize the picture. It shows an impressive, indigenous forest wilderness that is unique in Europe.
On the way back, the Albis chain captivates with first-class views of Zug and the surrounding hills and mountains. The route runs over smooth and fast gravel. Despite large differences in altitude, this is a relatively easy route with no challenging sections.
