This gravel ride takes you through the primeval-like beech forest from Baar to Sihlbrugg, Langnau am Albis, and back to Baar.
A natural forest in Switzerland? This route takes you deep into the atmospheric Sihlwald. Ancient, majestic giant trees—some up to 250 years old—along with small, young trees and others in their prime at around 120 years old, define the landscape. It showcases an impressive, native forest wilderness that is unique in Europe.
On the way back, the Albis Range captivates with first-class views of Zug and the surrounding hills and mountains. The route runs along smooth, fast gravel. Despite significant elevation changes, this is a relatively easy route with no challenging sections.
